Associate Professor,

Agata.Blacha-Grzechnik@polsl.pl

Prof. Agata Blacha-Grzechnik is a specialist in a covalent modification of solid surfaces by means of electrochemical and chemical methods for application in photochemical process and organic electronics.

Research interests:

  • Formation of organic layers on the surface of materials by processes: (electro)chemical grafting of surface and electrochemical polymerization
  • Characterization of photochemical properties of new organic photosensitizers
  • Formation of photoactive organic layers and their application in photocatalytic processes (synthesis of so-called “fine chemicals” and antimicrobial layers)
  • Production of electroactive organic layers and their application in (opto)electronics

Projects (Principal Investigator)
